Mirissa
Mirissa is a beautiful coastal town located on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. Known for its golden sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters, Mirissa is one of the most popular beach destinations in Sri Lanka.
The town is especially famous for whale and dolphin watching, where visitors can often spot blue whales and other marine life in the deep waters of the Indian Ocean. One of the most scenic spots in the area is Coconut Tree Hill, a picturesque viewpoint overlooking the sea.

Coconut Tree Hill
Coconut Tree Hill is famous for its gently sloping hill lined with tall coconut palms overlooking the ocean. Ideal for sunrise, sunset, and photography, it’s a serene spot to connect with nature.
Parrot Rock
Towards the end of Mirissa Beach is Parrot Rock. This big red point sticks out into the ocean and gives an amazing view back down Mirissa Beach. It is another great place to watch the sunset, with surfers on one side and Mirissa Beach on the other.
Secret Beach
Secret Beach is one of the best beaches in Sri Lanka, but to be honest, it is no longer much of a secret. There are two main sections of the beach which meet in a rocky headland. The first beach you walk onto is great for swimming and is one of the best spots for snorkeling in Mirissa.
